Terms and conditions

Welcome to the Get a Vet store (hereinafter: the “Store” or the “Website”), an online store for products for dogs and cats, operated by Get a Vet, licensed business no. 300515467, 6 Yitzhak (Ziko) Graziani Street, Gindi TLV Towers, Tel Aviv (hereinafter: the “Operator”). Use of the Website and purchases made through it are subject to these Terms and Conditions. For convenience, these Terms and Conditions are written in the plural and apply to all genders.

1. General

1.1. Purchases on the Website are permitted for individuals aged 18 or older who have a valid credit card and an active email account.

1.2. The Operator may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the Website at the time the order is placed.

2. Products and Prices

2.1. Prices on the Website are in new Israeli shekels (NIS) and include VAT, but exclude shipping fees, unless otherwise stated.

2.2. Images on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. There may be slight differences in packaging or color between the image and the product supplied.

2.3. The Operator may change prices and promotions at any time. Such changes will not apply to an order that has already been approved.

2.4. In the event of an obvious typographical error in a price or description, the Operator may cancel the order and refund the full amount paid.

3. Prescription Medication and Veterinary Diet Food

3.1. Products marked as “prescription medication” will be supplied only after a valid veterinary prescription has been presented and approved by the clinic staff. If the prescription is not approved, the order for that product will be canceled and the full amount paid for it will be refunded.

3.2. Information on the Website about medical products, supplements, and veterinary diet food is general and is not a substitute for an examination, diagnosis, or advice from a veterinarian. Before use, read the patient information leaflet and consult the treating veterinarian.

4. Orders and Payment

4.1. An order is considered approved after authorization by the credit card company and the sending of an order confirmation by email.

4.2. Payment is made through a secure payment page. Credit card details are not stored by the Operator.

4.3. The Operator may refuse to process an order, including when a product is out of stock, when misuse is suspected, or when the order details are incorrect. In such cases, any amount paid will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery and Self-Pickup

5.1. Home delivery is provided by a courier company throughout the country, except to communities the company does not serve. Estimated delivery time: 2 to 5 business days from order approval.

5.2. Shipping fees are displayed on the payment page before the order is completed. Orders of NIS 350 or more qualify for free shipping.

5.3. Self-pickup from the clinic at Gindi TLV Towers is free of charge, once you have been notified that the order is ready for pickup.

5.4. Delays beyond the Operator’s control, such as security-related circumstances, strikes, or force majeure, will not be considered a breach of the Operator’s obligations.

6. Transaction Cancellation and Returns

Transaction cancellations and product returns are subject to the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the cancellation and returns policy published on the Website, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Food, perishable products, and products that have been opened or whose packaging has been damaged cannot be returned, except where required by law.

7. Customer Club

7.1. Membership is free of charge and conditional on consent to receive marketing communications. Club members receive a joining benefit on their first order, subject to the terms of the benefit sent by email.

7.2. Club benefits are personal, non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be combined with other benefits, unless otherwise stated. The Operator may change or discontinue benefits by giving notice on the Website.

7.3. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including its design, text, illustrations, trademarks, and logo, belongs to the Operator or the respective rights holders and may not be copied or used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Information submitted on the Website is stored and used in accordance with the Website’s Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

The Operator will not be liable for indirect damage caused by using products contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions, the patient information leaflet, or the veterinarian’s instructions. The manufacturer’s warranty applies to products in accordance with its terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv District.
