Accessibility Statement

The Get a Vet store considers it very important that everyone who visits the website can use it easily, independently, and with dignity, including people with disabilities. We have invested in making the website accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Services), 5773–2013.

Accessibility Level

The website has been adapted in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568, based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Level AA.

What We’ve Done on the Website

  • Full keyboard navigation, including a link to skip directly to the content and a prominent focus indicator on every element.
  • Support for screen readers: properly structured headings, text descriptions for images, and labels for buttons and forms.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background, and text that can be enlarged without loss of content.
  • An accessibility menu available on every page via a button in the corner of the screen: text enlargement, high contrast, grayscale, link highlighting, a readable font, text spacing, stopping animations, a large cursor, and focus highlighting.
  • Respect for the operating system’s “Reduce Motion” setting: animations and videos are stopped or reduced.
  • The website is optimized for viewing on a computer, tablet, and phone.

Known Limitations

We continue to test and improve the website. Some content, such as documents or pages provided by third parties, such as the checkout page, may not be fully accessible. If you encounter any difficulty, we’d be glad to hear from you and address it.
